Elisad membership
Benefits for Elisad members
- All members benefit from being part of a professional European community with a common interest in exchanging and co-operating in the field of information on drugs and addictions.
- All members have an entry in our members' directory.
- One person of each member's organisation is invited to participate in our annual meeting without paying a registration fee (if the membership is paid before May 31).
- All members are invited to subscribe to the electronic mailing-list and to use this facility as a help desk to communicate or, for example, to find a document.
- All members get Elisad's e-journal for free and can participate to its editorial committee.
Membership
According to its constitution, Elisad is open to all those with an interest in the collection, the dissemination and the use of factual information on alcohol and other drugs in Europe.There are two classes of membership:
- Full membership (120 Euro/year) is open to legal entities and individuals working within the geographic area of Europe. Only full members can vote and may be elected as officers of the Board.

Associate membership (80 Euro/year) is open to legal entities and individuals who satisfy the criteria of full membership and are situated out of Europe. Salis members who become Elisad associate member pay a reduced fee of 55 Euro/year.
Salis (Substance abuse librarians and information specialists) is the equivalent of Elisad in North America. A regular partnership is maintained between both associations.
