General remarks

- Congratulations to Patricia Brigoni, Gruppo Abele, and to the Toxibase team for having achieved the best percentages of what was planned!

- There is no more input from DrugScope since October 2002... (only corrections)

- The biggest problems remain the analysis of the Scandinavian, Portuguese and CEEs websites... Although one can note the irresistible progression, in February, of the Scandinavians...

- Concerning the CEEs countries, there is an ambiguity about the number of websites planned to be analysed, and as well as about the sharing of the work:

- in Lisbon, February 2002, Hana identified 27 sites

- but in the CEEs' workshop, Sept.2002, lists per country were established:

- Hungary 25 analysed: 2

- Latvia 22 analysed: 0

- Bulgaria 14 analysed: 1

- Lithuania 14 analysed: 1

- Serbia 14 analysed: 0

- Poland 14 analysed: 1

- Slovenia 10 analysed: 0

- Estonia 8 analysed: 1

- Czech Rep. 8 analysed: 5

- Romania 6 analysed: 1

- Slovak Rep. 6 analysed: 0

- This makes a total of 141 sites but only 12 of them have been analysed...

- There is a solution for covering the missing countries. One month ago, Susanna sent the Word-Input-Form by a mailing to various organisations, and she told me that I have a much higher rate of responses to my call for website descriptions than I expected ! Of course they have to be revised, but anyway it is a significant save of time. (25-02-03). This solution can be used by any partner...

Corrected files

- Following the online corrections dates, Stephan corrected 43 sites.

- I revisited the 43 files corrected by Stephan, plus 12 other ones.

My new typographical initiative

In Bremen, it was decided that I would add
and and when appropriate in the producers' and websites' descriptions. Some of you started to do it. Thanks!

But I now decided that the first occurrence of the producer's name and of the website title will appear in bold. So don't be surprised to find also and !

My "this month" advises

- Resources providers: in Bremen, it was decided that when the producer is also a resources provider, this should be added in a paragraph in its description (in fact the elements you are clicking on in the Resource provider section that is planned to be cancelled). Only one partner did this correction: the PND. Please think to this...

- Avoid the use of "&" (unless it is used in a given reference): this is an American sign and not present in the UK/European typographical rules.

- Titles: for a better "readability", please avoid, as far as possible, long titles, and to use the producer's full name for them. This will avoid unpleasant doubloons in the results screens (title + producer) such as:

Archido Archiv und Dokumentationszentrum für Drogenliteratur, Archido Archiv und Dokumentationszentrum für Drogenliteratur

Personally, I would, in this case, think that "Archido", as a title, is enough...

All the best!
